London, UK - Aug 21, 2013 - BW Broadcast has released the first software update for it recently released V2 transmitters. Initially introduced at the 2013 NAB Show, the long feature list included as standard saw the new transmitters instantly awarded with a Radio magazine Pick Hit award.

Of note is the advanced four-band audio processing built-in to every transmitter. Innovative features like Gold-Clamp transistors and quick-change, slide-in power supplies on some models make the V2 range easy to maintain and service.

The new software update (v1.4) contains a much improved updated Ethernet interface. The new Web-based control system doesn't require software to be installed, so it can be easily operated from any smartphone. The software release is not critical, but any customers using the transmitter's Ethernet interface are advised to update to benefit from the new remote interface.
