Transaudio Group Sonodyne SM 50Ak, SM 100Ak
Nearfield monitors
The SM 50Ak is the smallest monitor in the Sonodyne range. Its active bi-amp design delivers 45W to the 5.25" woofer and 45W to the tweeter to smoothly reproduce 70 to 22,000Hz. Its aluminum enclosure and shape contribute to the sound. The next model up is the SM 100Ak, also biamplified, offering 80W to a 6.5" woofer, and the same 45W powered tweeter. The SM 100Ak delivers low-end response, a large sweet spot in front, and high SPL.
