Neural Audio, Voice Age Release Low Bit-rate Codec with Surround
Kirkland, WA and Montreal, Canada - Jan 07, 2008 - Neural Audio and codec developer Voice Age have released Neural-AMR-WB+ upgraded with Neural-THX Surround. The codec can deliver surround sound content at bit rates lower than 72kb/s.
While initially introduced for mobile TV applications, the technology could easily be applied to radio broadcasts.
