Glensound Electronics Solo, Solo Loop
Single position commentary
High-quality mic amps are used with Glensound ís broadcast-specific compressor/limiter system and a selectable 48V phantom power option to provide a portable mic preamp package. Button profiles can be configured in advance of a broadcast with four options: There is standard push on/push off, cough mode (always on unless the button is held down then it is off), intelligent mode (tap the button quickly to latch on or off), and hold mode (hold the button for more than a second and it will return to its previous state when released). The audio inputs and outputs are transformer balanced. An external input is provided for headphone monitoring. Sidetone is also available in the headphones via a rear-panel adjustable pot. Power is provided by an external USB supply. The Loop version adds two extra features: a talkback circuit and an additional monitoring input for the return talkback audio.
