Washington - Nov 18, 2011 - Now that the national EAS test of Nov. 9, 2011, is over, FEMA IPAWS will host a follow-up webinar on Nov. 29, 2011, at 2 p.m. ET.

It's widely known the Nov. 9 test was not perfect, but most agree it was successful in identifying shortcomings in the system.

The webinar is titled What's Next for Improving the Emergency Alert System? - Nationwide EAS Test Findings and Observations, Lessons Learned, and Way Forward. The webinar will be held through Microsoft LiveMeeting. Info on the webinar: https://nationaldialogue-emergencyalertsystem.ideascale.com/.
