Video: EAS National Test Simulation
The national EAS test will be held Nov. 9, 2011. Because an EAS message with an EAN event code has never been widely sent, many stations are curious to know how the test will work. This video provides some information and shows a closed-circuit test of an EAN being received and relayed through an EAS encoder/decoder.
