The SS3159 stereo disc reproducer from McCurdy Radio Industries was completely self-contained with a SP10D turntable, tone arm, plug-in pickup cartridge, equalized preamplifiers, audio cue switching, a power supply and pedestal assembly. In the September 1975 issue of Broadcast Engineering this product was advertised as offering "the highest quality, lowest noise operation available...the turntable minimized vertical as well as horizontal rumble."

For comparison, we have included the BIA ranking, the owner's 2003 Radio magazine ranking and the average revenue per station.
