Realtraps Release Free Room Analyzer Software
New Milford, CT - Oct 23, 2006 - Realtraps has recently upgraded Modecalc, its graphical room mode prediction software. The free download for Windows (1.3MB) can be used to design a new listening room or assess the low frequency response in an existing room. The new version offers several new features, including a display that better identifies modes that are too close together, and a revised and expanded tutorial in the included help system.
Also new on the Realtraps website is a Windows version of the company's Frequency-Distance Calculator. This tool identifies boundary-related peaks and nulls, and distinguishes them from modal peaks and nulls. Both programs can be downloaded from the Realtraps Acoustics website.
