IBOC-ready AM transmitter
Armstrong Transmitter X-500AM: This 500W digital IBOC-ready solid-state AM transmitter that features 90 percent PA efficiency, 80 percent overall efficiency (powerline to RF output); an optimized multiphase modulator (flat group delay, low source impedance); 150 percent positive modulation capability; a compact design that is UPS-shippable; and hot pluggable modules. The device is designed to accept digital IBOC signals. The transmitter also includes three preset power levels, full remote control capability, 600W RF modules for extra reliability and headroom, and high-efficiency switching power supplies.
