P Cube Patch Panels come in 1-5/8", 3-1/8", and 4-1/16" sizes. The outputs can be EIA or non-flanged. Standard and custom layouts are available. The U-links incorporate a unique latching mechanism (TISS) that protects the user from removing a U-link with the transmitter powered. The latch triggers the DPDT switch first, which when properly connected, will shut the transmitter off before the U-link can be removed. When patching to a new port, the transmitter will not engage until the latch is closed. This design uses low insertion fingers to guarantee a good RF connection.
