Merging Increases Processing Power in DAW

Switzerland - Apr 18, 2007 - Merging Technologies' has increased the processing capability of its Pyramix digital audio workstation by including the MYK-X30 DSP card and daughterboard options. The MYK-X30 cards offer 1.2 GFlops of peak processing power and a memory bandwidth of 1600MB per second. One MYK-X30 card permits Pyramix systems to mix 48 channels and their strip tools plug-ins simultaneously to stereo and surround buses.
