Erickson Broadcast Sales Sparta EAS Xtra

EAS/CAP system
The software for the new EAS Xtra was developed by the same people who wrote the very reliable Spartamation automation program, which has been sold by Erickson for many years. It not only functions as an FCC-approved EAS/CAP system, with add-on software it can also run Spartamation, the Lite Version, which can work well for LPFM's or music on hard drive stations. We can also add software to generate your stations RDS, Process Stereo Audio and deliver a composite audio output to an FM transmitter, send a stream over the Web and provide remote control of NiCom NT150, NT250 & NT350 Transmitters. In a future update, those units running the Spartamation software, will be able to drop the EAS Required Monthly Test between the next two events, solving the "rude interruption" of programming.
