The Eaton 5130 uninterruptible power system (UPS) is expanding to include new 1,000, 1,500 and 2,200Vac models. These line-interactive models are specifically designed for protecting information technology (IT) systems, as well as VoIP and EDGE/3G/Wi-Max wireless networking equipment, against damaging power fluctuations and outages. The new 1,000Vac model delivers a true 1,000W of power. With reduced heat dissipation in dense rack environments, the two-in-one rack and tower configurations are available in slim 2RU and 3RU reduced-depth form factors.
