Davicom Ships Next Generation Mac
Quebec City, QC - Jan 9, 2007 - Davicom is now shipping Next Generation Davicom Mac units designed for remote transmitter sites and unattended studios. The system features as many as 128 metering and 256 status inputs, and 256 relays. User-configurable logic functions can detect and correct faults. The units have multiple alarm-call lists for day/night work shifts, vacations and specific events. Multi-level alarms can be sent using various means of communications including secure 128-bit encrypted IP. The units are also dual-modem ready.
As many as four users can connect simultaneously to a Mac using the Mac Comm software or a touch-tone telephone. The screen displays and the voice response system are customizable and can support two languages.
