Burk Now Shipping Arc and Flame Detector
Littleton, MA - Nov 14, 2006 - Burk Technology is now shipping the AFD-1 arc and flame detector. As the name states, it detects arcs and flame to provide an indication to the Burk Arc Plus, Arc-16, GSC3000 and VRC2500 broadcast facility remote control systems. Applications include transmitter enclosures, antenna tuning units, transfer switches and other arc-prone locations. The device is small enough to be mounted inside equipment cabinets.
The Burk Technology AFD-1 debuted at the NAB Radio Show.
