Broadcast Electronics Ships First 100kW 4MX

Quincy, IL - Sep 6, 2006 - Broadcast Electronics (BE) has shipped to Radio Nacional de Angola (RNA) a new 4MX 100kW medium-wave transmitter, the first in the 4MX series at this power level. RNA purchased the transmitter as part of a contract specifying BE as the supplier for 10kW, 25kW, 50kW and 100kW medium-wave transmitters. Seratel, the BE representative in Spain, is supplying the transmitters for the state-run broadcaster, which operates 49 stations in Angola, Africa, including Canal A, Radio 5, Radio Ngola Yetu, Radio FM Stereo and Radio Luanda.

BE's 4MX transmitter line is available for 25kW, 50kW and now 100kW output levels.
