t-paced broadcast and live production markets\, but licensing requirements
\, radio spectrum reallocation and the wide variety of technologies compet
ing for clear spectrum have created an array of problems. Newer technologi
es exist in various other areas of the RF spectrum that can be used to rel
ocate wireless communications out of the existing UHF spectrum and free up
space for wireless microphones\, IFBs and other critical wireless needs.
Knowing the specifics regarding new RF techniques and the pluses and minus
es associated with going digital from an RF perspective is critical to mak
ing the right wireless intercom choices. The discussion will include frequ
ency-hopping spread spectrum and other critical digital RF techniques used
to overcome spectrum crowding and collocation issues\, as well as some of
the practical challenges and solutions to operating low power auxiliary e
quipment in an unlicensed spectrum.&lt\;br&gt\;Presenter: Tom Turkington\,
