This presentation discussion will showcase energy efficient broadcast lighting technologies and their application\, showing how these technologi es can be employed in a variety of installations from HD network studios t o webcasting suites in order to create high quality broadcast lighting tha t cuts power and cooling usage up to 80 percent over standard incandescent fixtures. This technology is increasingly being used successfully at majo r broadcast installations worldwide. Panelists representing designers\, ma nufacturers and facilities managers will discuss how various fixtures empl oying LED\, discharge and fluorescent technology can be applied to differe nt talent and scenic lighting configurations\; the pros and cons specific to each approach and their most current real world applications.
