A number of technologies have recently emerged or been proposed for ad ding enhanced features to radio broadcasts and receivers. Such new systems exploit the convergence of broadcast radio and the Internet\, which an in creasing number of devices now or will soon implement in one form or anoth er. These include Tagging\, Radio DNS/Radio VIS\, a radio EPG\, various mo bile radio apps and social networking applications.
