This presentation will look at the use of MOM to predict the need for and evaluate detuning of structures erected near AM antenna arrays. The FC C is about to adopt new rules for the cellular\, PCS and private radio lic ensees that will replace the currently required pre- and post-construction field measurements of AM arrays when structures are constructed or modifi ed. The new rules will allow the use of MOM modeling in lieu of these fiel d measurements. Information will be presented on how the model is construc ted and analyzed and what the results mean to the broadcaster.
