Anritsu Boasts Compliance with NRSC HD Radio Recommendations
Anritsu, a company that manufactures a family of spectrum analysis tools, says it is the first maker of spectrum analyzers to submit self-certification documents to the National Radio Systems Committee (NRSC) for compliance with the group's recommendations for measuring HD Radio signals.
The company claims its Spectrum Master, BTS Master, and VNA Master series, and Economy Microwave Spectrum Analyzers are compliant with the NRSC-5 in-band/on-channel (IBOC) Digital Radio Broadcasting Standard for Ibiquity's HD Radio IBOC digital emission on both the AM and FM bands, including specified parameters that must be met by IBOC broadcast facilities, such as RF mask.
According to an Anritsu press release, nine instruments from four product families were submitted for certification.
