Buckley will Use PPM in NYC
New York - Oct 9, 2006 - Buckley Radio, a Top 50 radio broadcasting company that owns 20 stations and the WOR Radio Network, will begin using the Portable People Meter (PPM) for audience measurement in a multi-year agreement with Arbitron for its audience measurement services.
Richard Buckley, chairman and chief executive officer of Buckley Broadcast Group commented, "WOR Radio 710 is a leading talk radio station in the country and we have always been on the cutting edge of broadcasting technology. We were the first AM station in New York to go HD. In signing for the Arbitron Portable People Meter service in New York, we are taking advantage of the most advanced audience ratings technology to better serve our advertisers and our listeners."
