Middle Atlantic Adds Revit Drawings
Fairfield, NJ - Aug 3, 2009 - Middle Atlantic Products has added Building Information Modeling (BIM) 3D models of its racks, cabinets and enclosures to Autodesk's Revit platform.
Revit drawings can be used to identify problems resulting from objects occupying the same physical space, which in turn saves significant time and money during construction. The Revit family files (.RFA) offered by Middle Atlantic Products have been optimized for use in Revit, and offer convenient features, including small file sizes and the ability to select the appropriate level of detail.
Middle Atlantic Products already offers system design resources and tools, including Rack Tools, a free layout and specification package that also exports to Auto CAD; CAD technical specification drawings; 3D Auto CAD files; CAD Block Library, and Visio Blocks.
