Continental Electronics Completes Phase 1 of Mississippi Project
Dallas - Nov 15, 2007 - Continental Electronics has completed Phase 1 of a $1.48 million contract with Mississippi Public Broadcasting to install eight analog and HD transmission systems throughout the state of Mississippi. Phase 1 included four systems installed and commissioned throughout September and early October for analog and digital operation. These stations are WMPN (Jackson), WMAU (Bude), WMAV (Oxford), and WMAH (McHenry). Phase 2, which includes the remaining four stations, is expected to commence in January.
All systems include the Continental 816HD analog/HD transmitter; the Continental HDE IBOC Exporter; the Nautel M50 digital exciter, the Orban 8500HD audio processor, and a PSI IBOC Importer.
