Sage and Spectrarep team up for EAS at CES, World Space is fading, Sirius XM reports subscriber pickup, and HD Radio at CES.
Designed to showcase interoperability between the Spectrarep Alert Manager system and the Sage Digital ENDEC platform, the demonstration took place in Ibiquity Digital's exhibition booth.
A published copy of a letter intended for subscribers indicates all services will terminate at the end of January.
The company announced it closed out 2009 with 18,722,758 subscribers, including a net addition of 257,028 subscribers in the fourth quarter.
IBOC Across America
There are 52 stations in The Peach State broadcasting 77 HD Radio channels.
HD Radio may not have been the lead story at this year's International Consumer Electronics show but there were plenty of examples on display.
