WorldDMB General Assembly to Meet in Amsterdam in November 2013
Oct 22, 2013 - Organizers of the upcoming 19th WorldDMB General Assembly say that 130 delegates have registered for the event, which will be held in Amsterdam on Nov. 5 - 6, 2013.
Asia Radio Today reports the UK's OFCOM will demonstrate at the conference recently tested technology that allows DAB to be transmitted over small areas at what it deems to be low cost. This methodology would cost around $2,100 per year to run, which could afford community broadcasters the opportunity to start DAB transmissions.
