WKSU First Pubcaster to Add HD-4
WKSU, a public broadcast outlet located in Kent, OH, says it has become the first non-commercial FM to offer four simultaneous HD Radio content streams.
WKSU HD-4, the station's latest digital content addition, offers continuous news and information programming. The Kent State University radio outlet also offers its primary classical music and NPR content on HD-1, a folk music format on HD-2, as well as extended classical music programming on HD-3.
A WKSU press release notes that the stations translators in Wooster, New Philadelphia, Thompson, and Norwalk, OH, also carry the station's complete digital content repertoire.
All of WKSU's HD content streams can be heard online as well.
