Vietnam Anticipates 100 Percent Digital Transmission by 2020
Hanoi - May 22, 2011 - The Asia Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development, the International Telecommunications Union, The Asia-Pacific Broadcast Union, and the Voice of Vietnam are participating in a workshop on May 22 and 23 called "Strengthening the Digital Broadcasting Experience."
Luu Vu Hai, director general of the Broadcasting and Electronic Information Authority, making opening remarks, said that Vietnam is catching up with the trends in digital communications for private users. Vietnam plans on having 100 percent digital transmission throughout the country by 2020.
