The Voice Secures Spot on North Devon DAB Multiplex
North Devon, OK - Mar 22, 2012 - Radio Today reports that The Voice, a community broadcaster in North Devon (UK) has secured a spot on the local digital multiplex transmitter. The station hopes to actually start broadcasting on it prior to April 12, 2012, the last day of a temporary FM broadcast authorization. The station has been campaigning for a full-time FM authorization for the last two years, and is still hopes to obtain it.
Programming will include local news, music, and specialty shows. The DAB signal is transmitted from Huntshaw Cross, which provides coverage across most of the North Devonarea.
