SIRTI Urges New French Minister to Support Digital Radio
PARIS—The French Government was dissolved on Monday, and new ministers are being appointed as the next Government is formed.
WorldDMB news reports that Fleur Pellerin has been appointed as the new Government’s Minister for Culture and Communication. SIRTI (Syndicat Interprofessionnel des Radios et Télévisions Indépendantes) is calling for Pellerin to be “bold and courageous in confronting the conservative attitude which is slowing down the growth of digital radio in France.”
“It is urgent that the new minister supports the deployment of digital radio in France to ensure its success,” said the Syndicate.
