IRF to Present First HD Radio Day
Zurich - Aug 7, 2013 - The International Radio Festival (IRF) announced its Radio Station Guest lineup and B2B Forum for the fourth annual IRF, taking place in Zurich, Switzerland Sept. 4-8, 2013. The IRF is a celebration of global radio, where radio professionals can network and share knowledge. This year for the first time, there will be a special HD Radio Day on Sept 2. All events take place at the Schloss Silhberg Castle.
"iBiquity is thrilled that our partnership with the IRF will introduce the next generation of radio professionals to the enhanced sound and creative possibilities of HD Radio," said Joseph F. D'Angelo, SVP, iBiquity Digital, "And this year, we are pleased to feature several great US HD Radio programs as a warm-up to the IRF."
More than 30 radio stations and their programmers, from all corners of the world, will attend the IRF to broadcast their shows live: Radio MPB, Rio Brazil; Tangsuan Radio Beijing, China; Medina FM Meknes, Morocco; Derrick May for BBC 6 Music UK; Radio Wave Prague, Czech Republic; Lounge FM Istanbul, Turkey; SOMA FM San Francisco, USA; Red Bull Radio Music Academy Radio Intl; BBC Radio ONE UK; Star FM Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; Screentracks USA; Adidas Originals Radio Istanbul, Turkey; Sonica Ibiza featuring DJ Hell as well as Ibiza Global featuring PACHA Radio Spain, and more.
