Nautel VS HD
VS Series digital radio adapter
A 2RU digital radio adapter for Nautel's VS Series FM transmitters, VS HD incorporates an HD Radio exciter and Exgine card into a single unit. The adapter enables ultra-compact, economical low-power HD Radio transmission via VS Series products; the combined package of a VS transmitter and the VS HD adapter carry a list price comparable to the traditional pricing of an HD Radio exciter alone. The VS HD/VS Series transmitters can be upgraded to support asymmetrical sidebands and HD PowerBoost for maximum HD Radio broadcast power and efficiency. Additionally, an HD Radio system supporting main channel audio and three additional digital program streams can be created in just 7RU with the addition of Nautel's solid state Importer Plus and Exporter Plus products.
