Long Beach, CA, and Columbia, MD - Jul 6, 2010 - Kenwood USA has launched a national radio campaign to promote the built-in HD Radio tuner of the Kenwood KDC-HD545U. According to Kenwood, the promotion will "put the attributes of HD Radio technology squarely on the minds of millions of consumers." Kenwood expects the campaign to be a call-to-action for consumers to visit Kenwood retailers for a demo.

Ibiquity Digital notes that Kenwood was the first company to bring HD Radio receivers to market. The KDC-HD545U is street priced at less than $170.

The radio campaign, reaching the top 100 US media markets, will focus on the advantages of HD Radio, including iTunes tagging and multicasting. The campaign will run from July to September, 2010.
