Ho-Ho-Ho -- it's HD Radio

The 10-member HD Digital Radio Alliance plans to mark the final quarter of 2010 with a new on-air campaign designed to drive holiday shoppers into the arms of partner HD Radio retailers such as Sears, Best Buy, Magnolia Home Theatre, Denon, and JVC.

Two themes are planned. The first, "The North Pole Gears Up," features moments with "famous North Pole residents" during October as they plan for the annual Holiday Season. The second, "Time to Shop," brings listeners into the lives of Santa, Mrs. Claus, the elves, and consumers as they make decisions for Holiday 2010 gift giving during November and December.

The no-charge spots will air on approximately 600 Alliance member stations across 100 U.S. markets.
