HD Radio Grabbing More Space in Vehicles
Las Vegas - Jan 11, 2012 - At the 2012 CES, iBiquity Digital highlighted expanded support for HD Radio from a wide array of leading automakers.
Bentley, BMW, Mini, Rolls Royce, Scion and Volvo all offer HD Radio as standard equipment across their entire vehicle line-ups. Other OEMs have committed to offering the technology as standard on specific models, including Audi, Cadillac, Hyundai, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes and Volkswagen. Volkswagen has become the first OEM to offer Artist Experience as well.
Ford, Kia, Lexus, Lincoln, Mazda, Porsche, Subaru, Tesla and Toyota are offering HD Radio in their vehicles.
There are now 109 different HD Radio offerings available in vehicles, encompassing 22 different brands.
