If you haven't yet purchased an HD Radio, you may want to hold off just a little longer, as iBiquity announces the release of its latest feature addition, dubbed Artist Experience.

This latest tweak on HD Radio technology will allow users to view graphics on receivers with compatible displays. Suggested applications include album art and station/client promotional graphics. Artist Experience will also enable broadcasters to sell advertising images synced to traditional audio advertisements.

The first Artist Experience compatible radio should arrive in Best Buy stores on Oct. 24. Price point of Insignia's new NS-HD02 is expected to be around $70.
