Ford Adds HD Radio to C-MAX Hybrids
Detroit - Dec 15, 2011 - Ford Motor Company announced that the Sony Audio system with MyFord Touch featuring AM/FM/CD/MP3 and HD Radio will be available in its new C-MAX hybrid and its C-MAX Energi plug-in hybrid starting in 2012.
Other available technology features on C-MAX include active park assist, push-button start, and a voice-activated navigation system.
With this announcement, HD Radio Technology is or will be available as a factory-installed feature from 22 automotive brands including Audi, Bentley, BMW, Cadillac, Ford, Hyundai, Jaguar, Kia, Land Rover, Lexus, Lincoln, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mini USA, Porsche, Rolls-Royce, Scion, Subaru, Tesla, Toyota, Volkswagen and Volvo.
