Detroit - Jun 8, 2010 - Clear Channel Radio's Total Traffic Network (CCTTN) and Inrix has created a traffic broadcast to include predictive traffic information called Total Traffic HD Plus, which uses HD Radio data service to deliver data.

Clear Channel says the service delivers traffic information 10 times faster than other broadcast and satellite systems. The Inrix traffic information and services includes Real-Time Traffic Flow to show real-time speeds and congestion, Predictive Traffic Flow to provide traffic forecasts and travel times based on the current traffic conditions with analysis of how conditions are expected to change over time, Traffic-influenced Key Route Travel Times to provide a snapshot of current and forecasted traffic conditions, and Fuel Prices from more than 110,000 gas stations.

JVC is the first to adopt Total Traffic HD Plus. Current Total Traffic customers include BMW, TomTom, Aston Martin, Mazda, Volvo, Garmin and Clarion. Nearly 1 million consumers use the Clear Channel Radio RDS-TMC broadcast network.
