Emmis Plans NextRadio Event in Indianapolis and Online
Indianapolis - Feb 4, 2013 - Emmis Communications will hold an informational event for broadcasters to help ready their stations for the launch of the NextRadio mobile app in Sprint smartphones this year. Emmis has planned the forum for Feb. 27 at its headquarters in Indianapolis, and is encouraging in-person attendance of broadcasters, technical leaders and radio IT engineers to learn more and participate in a discussion on how stations can be on the frontline of content delivery with the NextRadio app.
Topics will include an overview of the agreement with Sprint, a demonstration of the NextRadio app, a presentation of the options available for content delivery to the app, an overview of the technical requirements and set-up process for TagStation, the cloud-based engine that supplies data to NextRadio, and plenty of Q&A.
Though live attendance is encouraged to facilitate discussion, seating is limited. The event will be simulcast via webinar, and an alternate webinar-only event is scheduled for March 6 for those who cannot attend in February.
Details and registration are at NextRadioApp.com/events.
