Emitel Wins Contract to Provide DAB+ Transmission for Polish Radio
Warsaw - Dec 6, 2013 - Emitel has won the three-year contract to provide transmission of DAB+ signals on behalf of Polish Radio. Initially, the areas of coverage will be Warsaw, Katowice, and the Silesian region, according to TelecomPaper.
The coverage provided will encompass about seven million potential listeners; by the end of 2014 Polish Radio would like to increase the coverage to 30 percent of Poland, accounting for about 56 percent of the citizenry.
