Amsterdam - Jun 27, 2013 - Dutch radio station 100% NL will be the first station in the Netherlands to offer its own custom DAB+ radio receiver. The radio will go on sale the first week of July 2013, and will cost €99 (about $130). It is manufactured by Sangean.

A new DAB+ system will come on line in the Netherlands by the first of September, but 100% NL is testing now, and sees that as an advantage. Currently there are few other DAB+ radios available for sale in the country.

100% NL has been on the air on FM since 2006 but is seen as a pioneer in DAB+, having experimented with it around the Amsterdam area for some time now, according to Radio NL.
