DRM Consortium at 2012 NAB Show
Apr 11, 2012 - The DRM Consortium will showcase the developments and potential of the DRM standard, now fully recommended by ITU for AM (DRM30) and VHF (DRM+) at the 2012 NAB Show. In partnership with key Consortium members, DRM will present three main events grouped under the theme "DRM - Ready for Transmission and Reception."
"DRM30 - An Economical Solution for Large Area Coverage" will discuss the system's efficiency on April 16th at booth C1607 (Continental Electronics) at 3 p.m.
The April 17 presentation, "The New DRM Extension for High Quality Broadcast," will feature a live demonstration of DRM+ with multimedia encoding and multiplexing demonstrations. 3 p.m. in booth C2623 (Nautel).
On April 18, the analog-to-digital transition will be discussed during "DRM FM Rebroadcasting" at booth SU3012 (Thomson Broadcast) at 10:30 a.m.
