DAB+ Transmission Workshop, Demo in Indonesia
London - Sep 19, 2012 - A DAB+ technology workshop and transmission demonstration, jointly organized by the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union, Indonesia's Ministry for Communications and Technology, Radio Republik Indonesia and WorldDMB, will take place in Jakarta, Indonesia from Sept. 24 - 27, 2012 .
The two-day workshop will provide participants with up-to-date information on all aspects of the planning and implementation of DAB+ and its transmission technology; and, it will demonstrate the enhanced features andefficiencies of DAB+ compared to analog FM broadcast. It will be followed by a two-day transmission trial and field measurement exercise.
WorldDMB members, Commercial Radio Australia, Harris, Radioscape, Factum, Pure and Keystone Semiconductors have provided equipment for this demonstration and will share their expertise during this event.
