Cadillac to Make HD Radio Standard in CUE
Detroit - Dec 6, 2011 - Cadillac will become the first U.S. manufacturer to offer HD Radio as standard equipment. HD Radio will debut on the XTS as a standard feature of Cadillac's recently announced CUE(Cadillac User Experience) system, arriving at dealerships in the spring of2012.
CUE's audio functions also include standard AM/FM radio, integrated iPod/MP3/smartphone media player connectivity, multi-device music indexing, SiriusXM satellite radio, and applications such as Pandora.
With this announcement, HD Radio is or will be available as a factory installed feature from 23 automotive brands including Audi, Bentley, BMW, Cadillac, Ford, Hyundai, Jaguar, Kia, Land Rover, Lamborghini, Lexus, Lincoln, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mini USA, Porsche, Rolls-Royce, Scion, Subaru, Tesla, Toyota, Volkswagen and Volvo.
