Arquiva turns up DAB transmitter for Derbyshire
Arquiva will turn on its new DAB multiplex transmitter at Quarndon Wednesday morning at 8:00 AM.
The additional transmitter means BBC Radio Derby, Gem 106, Capital, Heart, and Gold will be available locally throughout Derbyshire for the first time.
The new mux, plus another two scheduled to come on later this year, will provide coverage for an additional 350,000 potential listeners, according to RadioToday.
