Zune with HD Radio Available for Pre-order
Redmond, WA - Aug 13, 2009 - The Microsoft Zune HD is the next version the portable digital media player, and it will combine a built-in HD Radio FM receiver, HD video output capabilities, OLED touch screen, Wi-fi and an Internet browser. The unit goes on sale Sept. 15, 2009, but orders can be placed now.
The player will be available in 16GB and 32GB capacities, and can be ordered through www.zune.net/ZuneHD, Amazon.com, Best Buy, Walmart and Microsoft.
The built-in Wi-fi capability of the player allows users to download music on the go, which has great potential for radio stations to implement buy-it-now functions with song tagging.
