Wit Closes Business
Salt Lake City - May 8, 2009 - After four years of business, Wit, the manufacturer of the Easi-8 remote control, is closing its doors and discontinuing sales of the product. The company shipped its first Easi-8 unit in 2005.
The company notes on its website, "We will honor every manufacture warranty on every unit and continue to provide customer support until June 30, 2009. We will also maintain our website with current software updates and downloads for another year or until June 30, 2010. We appreciate your association over the past four years."
The company cites the soft economy as the main reason for having to close shop.
