WideOrbit Reaches 2,000 Station Mark
San Francisco - Apr 5, 2011 - WideOrbit has installed its 2,000th station or network on WideOrbit Traffic software. WideOrbit Traffic software manages the advertising backbone of TV and radio stations, cable networks, website and other media forms. It encompasses CRM/contact management, sales force automation, order entry, pricing optimization, scheduling of programming and commercials, promotion optimization, accounts receivable and billing.
WENY-TV, a Lilly Broadcasting television station in Elmira, NY, was the first station to go live on WideOrbit's core software platform, WO Traffic, in February 2001. WJRT-TV in Flint, MI, also owned by Lilly Broadcasting, was WideOrbit's 2,000th Traffic software implementation.
