Wheatstone, RCS Partner on Console/Automation Interface
New Bern, NC - Mar 31, 2011 - Wheatstone has partnered with software company RCS on a new interface that allows NexGen Digital radio automation software to interface directly over IP with Wheatstone's WheatNet-IP Intelligent Network and E-series audio consoles.
The WheatNet-IP Intelligent Network is an audio-over-IP network that uses individual access points called Blades, which have on-board intelligence and are self-configuring for audio, logic, and network configuration information. NexGen Digital will have the ability to control source and destination routing, send and receive logic commands, and monitor network status through its direct IP interface with the network.
