TuneIn Radio App Combines FM Tuner and Internet Streaming
Palo Alto, CA - Apr 19, 2011 - TuneIn Radio (formerly RadioTime) has released a new version of its mobile app for Windows Phone 7 that automatically switches to a device's FM tuner when a user wants to listen to local FM stations. TuneIn says this is the first app to integrate FM and Internet radio access into one app.
The TuneIn Radio app for Windows Phone automatically uses the device's FM tuner when the local signal is strong or switches to the stream when needed over-the-air reception is poor or not available.
TuneIn Radio features a directory of more than 50,000 AM/FM and Internet-only radio stations and podcasts airing in 140 countries and broadcasting in over 100 different languages.
